
The VQTS project has developed an ECVET approach (European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training) that involves a system of a structured description of work-related competences and their acquisition (including Credit Points). The model VQTS represents a potential benchmark since it provides a comprehensive methodology, tested in a specific sector, to analyze the distinctive skills of a professional profile from the organizational and functional analysis of the work. It allows the definition of learning outcomes not rigidly anchored to formal training, and conditions of transferability of skills. It defines principles and criteria for the recognition (and potentially the validation) of skills, and the delivering of credits.
Transfer VQTS Project aims to transfer and implement in four European countries (Italy, Germany, Spain and Slovenia) the VQTS Model in the field of production engineering.
