This project is being accomplished by bfz Bildungsforschung.Both inhouse and external integration support personnel, as well as human resource managers and private and public sector employees, often lack information about working conditions for handicapped persons and are uncertain about the conditions under which handicapped individuals should or can be employed. Our online modules pertaining to specific handicaps provide this and other information, including extensive information about relevant reading material, Internet resources, and methodologies relating to suitable jobs for the handicapped and for dealing with the handicapped at the workplace.
The online information is available in clearly structured modules that allow for easy access to the desired content.

The online information is based on brochures that were developed under the auspices of the handicapped advocacy organization EBBA (Expertenunterstützte Beratung behinderter Arbeitnehmer) and were published by the Bavarian social welfare agency Zentrum Bayern Familie und Soziales, Regionalstelle Mittelfranken, Integrationsamt.
The main purpose of the online modules is to provide information on specific handicaps in conjunction with information regarding job design, worker management, human resource development, and occupational rehabilitation. Making this knowledge base available online will ensure that all interested parties can access it all times in accordance with their individual information needs. The information modules will hopefully also help eliminate uncertainty about the conditions under which handicapped individuals should or can be employed, thus making it easier for the handicapped to find gainful employment.
