Short description

zbw is supported by the Bavarian metal and electronic employers’ associations (BayME / VBM).  zbw provides services falling into five categories:

1. An internet site with information about continuing education in Germany, current trends, further reading, continuing education providers, discussion forums, contact people and a regular newsletter.
2. An extensive range of events, including specialist talks, workshops and meetings addressing current and needs-specific issues in continuing education.  A focus is on exchange with other companies, providing new knowledge and the implementation of this into a company’s day-to-day activities.
3. The development, provision and explanation of easy-to-use tools and instruments for use in continuing education and personnel development.
4. Leaflets and guidelines addressing methods of managing continuing vocational training.
5. Support in the creation of networks of companies.

Aims

zbw, as a partner in continuing vocational training, informs, motivates and trains HR managers and all those within companies who are involved with personnel development.  By focussing on people within companies being helped to help themselves, long-term, tailored and efficient personnel development and qualification can be ensured.
