Flexible working practices lead to a blurring of the boundary between the acquisition and application of vocational skills. This development is driven not least by the increasing role of information in work. Learning systems are no longer separated from the workplace but rather are directly linked to its central media elements.
In order to make better use of the potential advantages this brings, it is necessary to develop a didactic of digital leaning and work materials, application plans and strategies for the combination of media and methodologies. A key focus is on the use of new learning media in work processes.
